Join us for an informal discussion that will draw parallels between the Abolitionist movement of the 1800's, the Civil Rights movement of the 1960's, and modern day social justice movements for immigration reform, LGBT issues, and more.
Discussion leaders: Ursula Aldana, Adjunct Professor at Loyola Marymount and UCLA Civil Rights Project; Pastor David K. Farley, Echo Park United Methodist Church and CLUE Giant of Justice recipient; members of the Silver Lake Library Community.
