None of the cooking techniques or popular cuisine of either the first people of California or the Mission period are common today. But with this discussion, which will be led by Richard Foss of the Culinary Historians of Southern California, you will learn how the native people survived, how the introduction of agriculture changed their lives and even what delicacies the pleasure-loving Californian Dons enjoyed in their haciendas.
