A new and unique music AND film experience is coming to FIGat7th this fall, UnSilent Cinema!

Arts Brookfield is doing it again! In its continued effort to bring free cultural experiences to the public spaces of DTLA, it will take silent film masterpieces and pair them with contemporary scores for a modern screening experience for the eyes and ears where vintage meets new age. LA’s own Rum and Humble (Twilight Concerts at the Pier and the Hollywood Bowl), in partnership with David Spelman, have curated a list of musicians who have composed scores for these silent films and will be performing them live on the FIGat7th Plaza – including several world premieres!

This one-of-a-kind music and film event kicks off with Daedelus, and continues with Jimmy Tamborello and Kaitlyn Aurelia Smith as well as guitar masters Alvin Youngblood Hart and Marc Ribot.

The UnSilent Cinema will be taking over FIGat7th on September 29^th and 30^th! Come early and experience the new outdoor drink service at the TASTE Food Hall Courtyard and the event bar on the plaza, along with a variety of great dinner options from all the eateries at FIGat7th. Picnicking is encouraged and blankets provided while supplies last. DJs spin at 7:00 p.m. and screenings begin at 8:00p.m.
