As we head into the final hours before Election Day, I want to thank you for being part of our team and humbly ask for your vote to continue serving in the 13th District on the Los Angeles City Council.
Over the last several months, I have gone door-to-door, participated in living room discussions with your neighbors, and have visited with large and small groups of people in all types of settings. I have seen old friends, and made new ones along the way. I’ve heard you tell me what you love about your neighborhoods, and I’ve heard your ideas on ways we can work together to continue improving our quality of life in the years ahead.
Together we are making our streets safer, we are creating more jobs, and we are producing desperately needed affordable housing. And here are some key initiatives that are moving forward this year: a pedestrian safety improvement project near Hollywood Boulevard and Western Avenue, the implementation of a funding mechanism for affordable housing, wildlife habitat restoration, and infrastructure enhancements along the Los Angeles River, planning reform updates that will help us preserve the unique character of our diverse neighborhoods, and reforms at City Hall to help mom and pop businesses in the 13th Council District and beyond.
I am asking for your vote because there is so much more to do. Thank you for the privilege of serving you. Being your representative is the greatest honor I have ever known.
