Academic Decathlon Winners

The John Marshall High School Academic Decathlon Team brought home more honors this weekend! The team placed 3rd overall in the state Decathlon, competing against 64 other schools. They also tied for 1st Place in the Super Quiz (with El Camino Real Charter HS, which ultimately won the top award).
We raised our score about 1000 points from City. It is the highest score a Marshall team ever earned. And I forgot to mention that Marvin Paparisto, who was the highest scorer at City, is now the highest scorer in the NATION......
Marshall also won the Large School Championship which qualifies them for the National Online contest to be held the third week in April. Marshall teams won this contest in 2010 and 2011. They also won National Championships in 1987 and 1995.
With four national titles, we are ready for our fifth! So proud to be a Barrister!
