Sunday, Dec. 15, from 2 -3 pm, at the Polka-Dot Plaza, corner Griffith Park Blvd. and Edgecliff Dr., the community will be honoring and bidding a sad farewell to El Conquistador Restaurant.
CD 13 Councilmember Mitch O'Farrell (or his representative) will present a Certificate of Appreciation to El Conq's co-owners Jesse Pinto and Alberto Curiel, people will have a chance to express their gratitude to the place, and afterwards those who wish can go over and have a last (or penultimate) Margarita before the place closes down on Dec. 22.
