Better Together March and Rally
September 23rd, 9:00AM - 12:00PM
532 S. Olive St. Los Angeles, CA 90013
High school senior, Senayt Tassew, has envisioned an event where her goal is to remind everyone that while we may have different experiences, we are all still human and better together.
From her Facebook Event description:
No matter where you fall politically, there are many things to agree on: hate, racism, sexism, bullying, xenophobia, Islamophobia, anti-semitism, classism, and anti-LGBTQIA rhetoric is not acceptable.
We must come together regardless of race, sexuality, gender, disability, religion, immigration status, political affiliation and denounce this discriminatory, fearmongering behavior.
One of our goals for this event is to spur conversation among us, so that we can understand the struggle of others and stand with one another in the face of division and prejudice.
Please join us as we PEACEFULLY protest against the injustices and prejudices that we face now as one humanity, united.
**Please note, this event is not Anti-Trump, it is Anti-Hate. This event is family-friendly and for all ages! Everyone is welcome, as long as everyone is respectful!**
