Humor at the Old Zoo Theatah
The Griffith Park Free Shakespeare Festival produced by local Independent Shakespeare Co. opens this Thursday, June 27 at 7:00 and continues Thursday through Sunday until September 1. This summer the plays will be "She Stoops to Conquer" by Oliver Goldsmith (not Shakespeare but very funny), "Macbeth" and "As You Like It."
All shows start at 7:00 in the Old Zoo area of Griffith Park. The parking and performances are free but donations are gratefully accepted. Bring a blanket, a picnic, a friend. It's a great night out!
