Make Silver Lake More Beautiful with Art - by Silver Lake Artists
The Silver Lake Arts & Culture Committee has put out a call for artists for the Electrical Box Beautification Project
Artists can submit creative ways to decorate the gray electrical boxes scattered around the streets of
Silver Lake. Each selected artist will paint 1 box.
Send 5 to 7 images of your work and links to your websites artsandculturecommittee@gmail.com by Nov 12!!
Ten artists will be selected to create a mock up box that must be approved by the Arts & Culture Committee.
All supplies/materials for this project will be funded by the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council. The actual painting of the boxes will happen in February.
Decisions will be made by Dec 11.
