OPEN MIC
New spiritual community, Beautiful Gate, sponsors second Open Mic this coming Sunday at 5 PM, behind Dragonfly DuLou in Los Feliz, 2066 Hillhurst, adjacent to Silver Lake.
To perform, or for more details, contact Samuel(at)BeautifulGate.LA. A singer, song-writer, future shoe business owner, acting student, husband, father and pastor, Sam incorporates live performance into every gathering of Beautiful Gate.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT:
<- A small budding community in Los Feliz called the BEAUTIFUL GATE will be hosting you in the heart of the Los Feliz Village on Hillhurst Ave.
<- It's also a POTLUCK, so feel free to bring something. It's not a compulsion cause we will still have food ! [Sam's wife might make some legit Indian Food ... keep hoping people!]
<- A group of like-minded and upcoming artists with a desire to build new friendships.
<- A "positive" event that has its primary focus on artist development and community.
SOUND/LOGISTICS
<- We will have the BOSE L1 Model II for our PA [

<- There will be inputs for one guitar and a Kawai Digital Piano and a Korg SV1 73 Key Keyboard set-up for use and two extra inputs if you need to plug in and MIDI stuff.
<- A screen for lyrics or any other content
PERFORMANCE
<- Each artist will have between 8 - 12 min of performance time.
<- No hater music. Keep it positive. No violent lyrics and and

<- You are encouraged to promote your music/brand and bring merchandise too as we will have a place for ARTIST DISPLAY
WHAT THEY NEED FROM YOU, if you want to perform:
- Please confirm your attendance asap!
<- Let us know asap about any material that you would want to show on screen [pictures/lyrics etc]
<- We ask that you SPREAD THE WORD and bring at least a couple of friends if you can :)
