American artist, Fulbright Scholar, and former Echo Park / Silverlake resident, Ann Chamberlin will be returning from Mexico with a brand new body of work titled Vaivén, New Paintings from Mexico.

Ann's work charmingly captures the intimate life of ordinary people and the characters that surround her. Through the eyes of the artist, we float above streets, see human thoughts and desires and experience the violence and beauty of real places transformed by her imagination.

The exhibition opens Saturday, May 30th at Lora Schlesinger Gallery in Santa Monica.
