Trader Joe's Reopens for the First Time Since Hostage Taking
Trader Joe's reopens (August 2nd) almost two weeks after the fatal shootout, and will be returning to its normal operating hours.
In a statement from Trader Joe's: "While we move forward, we will never forget, and we remain forever grateful for the incredible outpouring of support from customers and Crew Members across the country."
When you see employees wearing tie-dyed t-shirts in memory of co-worker Melyda Corado, intending to honor the vibrant life of the 27 year old assistant manager, Silver Lake Star requests that you not ask them to recall traumatic memories. Enjoy shopping and celebrating their re-opening.
