The City’s “Vision Zero” program, administered by the Department of Transportation, is spearheading efforts to bring some type of pedestrian/bicycle safety improvement to Atwater’s section of Fletcher Drive. Specifically between the La Clede Ave and the 5 Interstate Freeway. The planned improvement is believed to include a “road diet” of some type or vehicular traffic lane reduction. Could this be a bike lane? 

They are holding a community meeting in Glassell Park (see flier below) to discuss planned improvements and hear from the community. This may be the only meeting we can provide input, if interested in driving, riding, bicycling or walking on Fletcher, we strongly urge you to attend.
