Thomas Starr King MS is competing for a $30,000 grant from the Scholar Dollars Grant Program, sponsored by the Office of the California State Treasurer. Only one winner in our extra large size school category will get the grant, based on the greatest number of votes accumulated during the Voting Period starting today, March 12th, until March 23rd. 

Please go today and every day until Friday, March 23rd to https://tinyurl.com/ScholarDollarsVoteKing, and click 'Vote for This School' on the right of "Thomas Starr King Middle School Film and Media Magnet".
* NOTE 1: the grant is to benefit the ENTIRE school (all 3 magnets), even though when you click through, you will be voting for "Thomas Starr King Middle School Film and Media Magnet". This is the official name of our home school in the LAUSD system, and includes all 3 magnets (sorry the language is confusing - this is a product of the LAUSD school naming convention... )
