Local Ben Boquist has been writing musicals since the age of six. His latest work, “Songs of the Fall,” is about messing up and coming home. He brings a different perspective to his musical play. Told through from the Creator’s POV, it’s the classic story of Adam and Eve.

Test audiences from a variety of backgrounds have been moved to tears. Want a preview? Click for more info.

The world premiere takes place in our backyard at the Hollywood Fringe Festival. Touted as L.A’s largest celebration of the performing arts, events run June 11-28 this year.

Boquist rented a stage for four performances. He is reaching out to the LA artsy subculture to sponsor his ensemble of talented actors, singers, musicians and state techs. With costs of $8K, he just needs $2K more to reach their goal. Have you ever wanted to be consider yourself a patron of the arts? Do you support Silver Lake creatives? Want a preview?
