MEMORIAL DAY MEMORIES

Congressman Adam Schiff is pictured here center with Michael Hjelmstad, Vice-Commander of American Legion Post 43, on his left shoulder. On his right is PFC Clayton Pitkin, USMC, who at age 18, is the youngest Legionnaire at the post, and possibly in the world.

After a moving Memorial Day speech at the American Legion on Highland Avenue in Hollywood, Congressman Schiff made the time to take pictures with numerous veterans and service members from many branches of the service, representing many conflicts including WWII.
