The Silver Lake Time Bank (and you're all invited) will be sharing holiday cheer in abundance on Saturday, December 20, at the Silver Lake Time Bank’s “Wassail Meetup” at the bar at Taix French Restaurant, 1911 W. Sunset Blvd. at Park Ave. , Los Angeles, CA 90026. Cheer begins at 3:00 p.m.
“Wassail?” you say? Translates from Old English as “Be you healthy!,” but nowadays refers to the act of drinking hot mulled cider at Yuletide. Who knows if the bartenders at Taix actually brew wassail, but you get the idea. Come and make merry with your neighbors!
