Los Angeles City Council Districts 1 and 13 Candidates Forum

February 7th was a very interesting evening at Williams Hall on the historic Barlow Hospital campus in Echo Park. Native Garden Installed at Silver Lake's Meadow

THE NEW SILVER LAKE MEADOW NATIVE GARDEN IS IN!
 
Thanks to our new group of neighborhood volunteers, a small army of Marshall High students, and lots of donuts, we got all of the plants in the ground last Saturday. A combination of existing irrigation, hand watering, and (we hope!) a wet winter, will get them through this first year.
